What Lies Beneath proudly announces its firstvinyl release, More Small Songs by Antony Milton. As Antony tells it, these small songs were bornout of the warm thrum of an old classical guitar, the first of these tracks emerged as a surprise onerainy morning to be followed by another, and thenanother. In a sense they are like sketches, lessthrowaway than snapshots yet more honest thanfussier audio can often be.

These five musical sketches reach through timeand space with an emotional atmosphere whichhas elements reminiscent of the likes of: BillDireens 80s Flying Nun output, Expressway eraAlistair Galbraith and Antonys long running yetrarely recorded duo with Clayton Noone, Claypipe.
