Nigerian rock icon Mdou Moctar returns with Funeral for Justice. Its the sound of a band united in their defiance of colonial powers and channelling that rage through feedbacking guitars and unflinching political lyrics.

Inspired by the turmoil in Niger, the message is universal and vital.

At WOMAD 2023, Mdou and the band played two incredible sets and found many new fans in New Zealand who discovered that Mdou’s guitar playing is jaw droppingly hypnotic!

Available on Standard Black and Indie Red Vinyl.
